The initial function of video surveillance systems, i.e. monitoring and recording images from cameras, is systematically upgraded with newer, more advanced algorithms for analyzing the content of images. As a result, security cameras installed in each area can perform a dual role, i.e., surveillance and analytical functions.
The innovative INGENIOUS PLUS image analysis technology used in Novus cameras uses - among other things - an algorithm that distinguishes between objects in the camera's field of view, allowing the recognition of a person, a vehicle as well as a bicycle or motorcycle.
Six independent counters provide information on the number of classified and counted sites, as well as on the direction in which they are determined. The categories displayed by the camera counters can be set freely. The counters can be reset automatically after a certain time - hour, day or week, or manually through the camera's web interface.

DETECTION
SENSITIVITY Any specified minimum distance of the object from the projected line or area that will trigger the alarm.
Deep
Learning-based image analysis, in combination with face detection, allows detection and warning of people who have not covered their mouth and nose, the so-called maskless detection function.
The feature allows you to trigger a local alarm, send an email, activate a relay, send an event to the NMS, or generate a notification to click on the mobile app after detecting a face without a mask in a specific detection area.
A
function that allows counting objects with recognized shapes (e.g. a person, a car, a two-wheeled vehicle) that have crossed the virtual line. The results of individual cameras can be displayed in real time, as well as collected and visualized in the central software.
MONITORING OF UP TO 32 OBJECTS
The efficiency of the devices and analysis methods used allows the simultaneous observation of up to 32 objects of different types (if a larger number of objects appear in the image, human silhouettes will be recognized first, then cars and finally smaller vehicles).

efficiency in difficult weather conditions, including rain and snowfall, as well as in adverse stage lighting at sunset or sunrise. The algorithm eliminates false alarms by rejecting all shadows, lightning, tree movement, etc.
Possibility
to create various alarm scenarios, e.g.:
- a pedestrian enters/exits through an entrance reserved only for cars,
- movement in a prohibited direction,
- people in the work area of large-sized machines.
Other examples of places where the discovery of human
silhouette can be useful are:
- Rail level crossings;
- entrance and exits of underground car parks;
- places where pedestrians are not allowed to cross the road.
OPERATOR'S VIEW
The NMS user view interface is clear and easy to use. It was designed so that the operator could freely arrange windows so that he can customize the program to suit his own needs. The easy and intuitive interface of the program allows you to quickly configure the display of streams by dragging one of them to any video window. The software has a list of added devices thanks to which we have access to them at any time. An important element is the ability to operate the operator's view on 6 monitors at the maximum division of 6x6, which allows us to freely display the streams.
PLAYBACK AND RECORD ARCHIVING
An important option is the recording playback function. The software is equipped with a player so that we can easily find the registered material. The built-in playback panel allows us to play 25 streams at the same time. The advanced search module allows us to export records by date, exact time and export records from several devices at the same time (export in AVI and PAK format).
The
functions of the maps and events in the app allow intuitive control of the video surveillance system for a given object. The operator can switch between different layers of the graphical interface, on which are located interactive icons of elements of the video surveillance system (cameras, alarm outputs, etc.). Thanks to this convenient solution, we can easily intuitively navigate the object, by selecting the map and stream from the camera and displaying it in the video window. In addition, the program has a module for current events, thanks to which we can filter by set criteria the actions that occur on a given object, for example: alarm occurrence, camera motion detection, the status of the device's connection to the NMS software, etc.

OPERATION OF ALARM EVENTS
Thanks to the extensive scenarios function, the administrator has the opportunity to define the response of events to different types of alarms (for example: motion detection, reaction to alarm inputs/outputs of the camera, image analysis). It is possible to set a number of elements on a number of occasions and give them specific reactions. Alarm responses can even be set on multiple devices at the same time (e.g. displaying the alarm from multiple cameras in full screen). Automatic scenarios help the operator in their efficient work and reduce their reaction time to disturbing events. Alarm scenarios are implemented based on schedules. It is possible to create multiple scenarios and associate them with a specific date, time of day, or specific events. The interactive video window allows you to view the alarm events that occur. The event configuration module together with the I/O panel allow you to define the occurrence of alarm events and determine the alarm responses.
INTEGRATION OF POS AND NMS ANPR
The software gives us the ability to connect devices that send text messages, for example, cash registers or ANPR car license plate recognition software. Thanks to this, we will receive information from external devices about the transactions carried out or information about the license plate of a vehicle, which will be assigned and displayed on the specified video stream. An additional feature of the software is the POS search engine, in which we can filter events by time, date or other criteria. The data can also be exported in CSV format. The integration of POS devices (cash registers can be done via TCP/IP or RS232) and the recognition of license plates via TCP/IP.
ADMINISTRATOR PANEL
The recorder module is designed to set the parameters for recording streams. Thanks to this, you can allocate any disk space, set a recording path and set a schedule. It is flexible and allows configuration for each camera individually. The software also features advanced user settings. This is achieved through a simple module for configuring group permissions. You can define settings for individual groups so that you adapt the monitoring system to the operator working on the site, giving him specific permissions.
