With this adapter, it is possible to install the Danalock V3 smart lock on an existing secret cartridge without the need to replace it. Therefore, you need your own key, which must be cut and placed on the inside of the door. It is used as a connecting link between the cartridge and the Danalock. The adapter and mounting plate are screwed to the Danalock and then plugged into the existing cartridge. Finally, the adapter can be firmly attached to the cartridge.
The adapter is compatible with all common Europrofile secret cartridges. The requirement is that the cartridge protrudes at least three millimeters from the rosette on the inside of the door. This ensures that the mounting plate can be secured to the chuck. The existing cartridge must have an emergency function: The door can be activated from the outside with a physical key, even when a key is already inserted from the inside.
