With this adapter it is possible to install a Danalock on an existing secret cartridge without the need to replace it. You therefore need your own key, which must be cut and inserted on the inside of the door. The adaptor is compatible with all common Euro profile secret cartridges. The requirement is that the cartridge protrudes at least three millimetres from the rosette on the inside of the door. This ensures that the mounting plate can be secured to the cartridge. The existing cartridge must have an emergency function: the door can be operated from the outside with a physical key, even when a key is already fitted on the inside..
